About

Julia Rowe

Julia Rowe is an HCPC-registered physiotherapist and CSP member, working from a private treatment room in Ockley, Surrey Hills.

She's completed the Amsterdam Marathon (2014) with a Boston-qualifying time in 2016, raced Ironman triathlons in 2016 and 2018, and returned to training after four caesarean sections — including significant SIJ-related pain following the fourth, in 2020. That's shaped how she works: treating the person in front of her, not just the presenting symptom.

“My goal is to support others to achieve their own understanding of their body and how to manage symptoms.”

Clinical approach

How she works

01
Hypothesis-led assessment, with a clear differential diagnosis rather than a guess.
02
Test–retest: checking what actually changes your symptoms, in the session.
03
Plain-English explanations of what's driving the problem.
04
A graded loading plan built around your schedule, not a generic handout.

She also uses FormIQ multi-camera video for real-time movement feedback, and PathwayIQ — her own diagnostic pathway — to guide clinical decisions and any onward referrals.
